THURSDAY: Pray for a spiritual awakening among those who influence education and control the media. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2). • Pray that God convicts their consciences about the need to restore decency and morality in the media. • Pray for textbook authors, school board officials, administrators, teachers, school support personnel, and others who influence education. Ask God to convict them of the need to restore His standards in the classroom. • Pray for those involved in the Christian school and home school movements. Ask God to enable them to educate young people in Godly living, Christ-like character, and Biblical convictions.
