THanks to Andy: This is interesting. But theres a problem. The public dont have anywhere near the influence that corporations have. The big multinationals have decamped to Govt depts, and are writing the nations policy. The multinationals fund MPs, staff, facilities, research, all sorts. And not out of any sense of civic duty. This allows them to influence decision makers way beyond the cosmetic surgery that is ticking a box once every 50 or 60 months. Labour wont discount their input or demands, so where does that leave us?
