TICSL is currently working on our future events from January 2014. After our successful Literary and Cultural Evening last 15 November which turned into a fund-raising event for the British Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Appeal for the Philippines, our members who could not come to the event are continuing to send in their cheque donations for the Appeal. We are very grateful to them for their generosity. Our Committee member, Diana Granger-Taylor continues to collect for the BRC APPEAL at various tube stations in London after work. She is also working on plans with her contacts for a long-term project for the victims of Haiyan. Another TICSL member too, Gia Macuja Atchison, has been giving her time also in collecting for the Appeal. The next performance in early December of her popular group, the West End Mamas, is nearly sold-out, the proceeds will also be going to the Appeal. Such lovely and kind ladies and gentlemen too are examples of what TICSL is about. Friendship and Fellowship are our objectives. We share and promote the various cultures of the intercultural people living in London so that in doing so, we develop friendship through understanding who we truly are.
