TIGER PEEPS.....Listen up, TROY THOMPSON had a major stroke at the end of last week, he had an artery in his brain burst. He is in the ICU at Memorial Hermann in the Medical Center. Myself and Wendell Ubernosky went to visit tonight. I spent some time with his wife and it is her wish for me to pass this along. He can open his eyes but can not speak. Not sure if he knows what happened but does know he is in the hospital. I held his hand while I was there and spoke to him and he clenched my hand in intervals as to recognize my words and presence. I could feel the pain in his eyes as he went in and out while I spoke but he is a fighter, a real trooper. He has lost all feeling in his right side. as of right now, the doctors think with a long road to recovery he will regain 80%......but he has already done more than expected so everyone around him thinks hell fight his way all the way back. His wife Symantha thinks they may have about 10 more days in ICU and up to two months in the hospital. She welcomes prayers and anyone that wants to reach out and see him. Probably best to wait a week or so. A fund has been set up (see the link below) since they have now lost an income for the for seeable future and arent certain what that may hold......I will update his path to recovery as I learn more and maybe next a pic of him with a thumbs up!
