TIP OF THE DAY: Can your mood and energy really be influenced by your diet? ABSOLUTELY! Some of the contributors to mood swings, depression, and low energy are blood sugar regulation issues, gluten sensitivities, and dehydration. The great part is all 3 are very easy to fix! Eat meals every 3-4 hours high in protein and green veggies (raw nuts as snack) for blood sugar stabilization, cut out gluten and most other grains, and drink plenty of water!! -Julia Hayes, CPT, CHHC, NS
