TITANS OF MAVERICKS SURFING CONTEST IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! Half Moon Bays famous surfing spot, Mavericks, will host the contest sometime between January 1 and March 31, 2015. Wave patterns will determine when the contest will take place and surfers will get just 24 hours notice. The award will be the 2015 Mavericks Surf Contest title and a cash prize. There are two Wild Card spots, the first of which will be announced on January 3, 2015 and the second will be filled on the day the event announcement, which commences the competition, is made. The Oceano Hotel and Spa at 280 Capistrano Road in Princeton Harbor will host the Mavericks Festival from 8:00am to Sunset.
