TITLE :EXPEDITION AT ESCHOL. TEXT:‘’ We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.’’ (Numbers 13:27) The twelve-man team, after their expedition to Eschol, was able to confirm that the promise of God was indeed real when they got to the Promised Land. They reported that “…surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.” You can always count on God for His promises because they will never fail. “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen” (2Corinthians 1:20). You should know that He has good plans for your life. When you are hungry, He is the Bread of life. When you are spiritually thirsty, He is the fountain of living water. When you are sick, He is the Great Physician. When you are troubled, He is the wonderful counselor and comforter. When you are lonely, He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. When you are lost, He is the Good Shepherd looking for the lost sheep. Above all, God has promised you eternal life in Heaven. Challenge: Show your gratitude by earnest Christ-like living.
