TL;DR: Music is awesome. I owe many thanks, and Ill say them this month. Also, my dad is super awesome. So a lot of folks are choosing November to be a month where each day they try to think of some number of things that they are grateful for. I (sort of inadvertently) started that last night in my own way, and it seems useful. As most of you know (particularly anyone who is still actually reading this post), music is a huge part of my life. Pretty much always on, at least in the background. So each day this month Im going to try to post a song that I love (because lets be honest, I already do this anyway) that someone else introduced me to. Because of the many things I have to be thankful for, friends and family with (mostly) exceptional musical taste are big ones. These will be in no particular order after todays and probably tomorrows. First and foremost, thank you dad (Phil) for convincing me at a young age that music was 1) fun and 2) important, and that concert experiences are worth having. Im probably the only person my age I know who saw the Dead live three times. Honestly, I thought about going with Bungle in the Jungle because of childhood dance sessions, or something by Phil Collins, but you basically are Jerry and this is one of my favorite songs.
