TL;DR: Scroll to the bottom! It has come to my attention there is some confusion regarding precisely what on earth is happening Thursday night at the GameWright Game Night. Since Ive heard that from more than one person, its probably my fault. Heres a full explanation: GameWright is a tabletop game publisher with a focus on games for all levels of development - so much so that they actually categorize their game by age level. Many of their games have won Oppenheimer Toy Awards or Mensa Select awards. They sponsor a fundraiser called a GameWright Game Night, which is what we will be doing this Thursday night at my daughters school, Oak Hill Christian School, in Oxford. It is FREE to attend, and there are upwards of (40!) games to play. There is an open demo game table and you can grab a game and try it out. If you find a game you like, you can buy a copy and the school gets half the profit - By half the profit I mean the price of the game divided by 2. Could you save a buck or two ordering the game on Amazon? Yes. Could you get the game on Amazon for half what the listed price is? No. So, yeah. Come, play games this Thursday for FREE. Theres going to be a food/snack table which will be donation suggested. There will be an info table if you want to learn more about OHCS. There will be me, running a Game Night (do you need anything else?). We have a decent stock of games so you have a good chance of walking out with the games you want, but even if we run out (which could happen because GameWright games are awesome) we can order anything we need. If nothing else, have a free night of family fun on me. Oh! And dont let a lack of cash get you down. Well be able to take credit cards.... So, come to Oak Hill Christian School this Thursday night from 6:30-8:30 to play fun board games for free. Buy some if you like them. Help a tiny school raise a little bit of money. TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!! Oak Hill Christian School 40 Sacarrappa Road Oxford, MA 01540
