TLDR: ALS ice bucket challenge haters are not smart, also probably have small penises. I still see a lot of people saying things like, Dumping ice on your head isnt going to cure ALS, youre not helping. These are the same people that dont like Doritos Locos Tacos, think Shark Week is overrated, and didnt like Forrest Gump; Morons. ALS has been around and remained uncured for over a century. Dumping a bucket of ice water on your head wont cure ALS but the ice bucket challenge has raised a ton of awareness and money for ALS in the past few weeks, and that was the goal of the campaign. The critics of the ice bucket challenge are far worse than even the people that make a video solely for entertainment and social purposes. If you bash the challenge from behind a keyboard, you have maligned a good cause rather than supported it. Even if you donated so you could tell your 39 followers how you did more to help than anyone dumping ice on their head, ask yourself if you would have donated if this movement never happened. Definitely not. This is the most anyone has talked about ALS since Ted came out and we all felt bad for laughing at a joke about it. In a perfect world everyone doing these videos would understand more about the cause and donate, but then again in a perfect world nobody would ever get ALS.
