#TLFSTORIES #3369 LIVE Three years ago, My girlfriend and I broke up and this completely changed everything. I had a hard time moving on and in addition to fallen emotions, I was encountering different problems and I thought of committing suicide thinking it would solve everything. Good thing I didnt though because I had friends and family. It was because of them I didnt do anything to hurt myself coz they were there for me throughout my predicament. They stood by me and loved me. Love is imperative to the soul, it keeps everyone going. Oh and yes, I prayed to God and asked him for strength and I must say I am grateful. I just read two posts here where they said they wanted to give up and commit suicide so everything will end. Tbh, I felt like crying because recently I had a friend who committed suicide and now shes gone. I have another friend who did the same, but luckily she survived. Suicide affects everyone around you, it hurts them, too. If you are having a breakdown and you dont think you can handle it and you know you need help, dont hesitate to ask someone for help. Dont leave the people that love you behind in sadness and pain. The people you leave behind will have the feeling of guilt for the rest of their lives because of the thought that they failed you. You are loved. Dont ever feel that youre not. Lastly, suicide is not worth it. You know you have a great life ahead of you. Yes, the struggle is real, but all of this is temporary and eventually they will subside. We all have different lives we live, levels of problems we encounter and different ways of coping with what life has to offer, but things will will always get better. To anyone who knows a person having suicidal thoughts, help them out. You may or may not know what theyre going through, reach out to them. Let them know and show them there is hope and there is always a solution to a problem. Talk to them, listen to them and give them words of wisdom.
