TO: ALL MEDIA MASSIVE WEEKEND MEDIA BLITZ IN THE PROVINCE (VOTER CONTACT) 07-09 March 2014 The ANC in the Northern Cape has stepped up its election campaign by deploying senior leaders to the province to interact directly with communities and to do door to door visit to the communities throughout the province. These leaders were warmly received by the communities were ever they went to, because of its proven track record of service delivery to all our people. After twenty years our people are celebrating the expansion of basic services such as having access to portable water, connected to electricity, quality housing, eradication of the bucket system, provision of social grants and health care services. Our people have again expressed their confidence in the leadership of the ANC and have reassured the leadership that they will vote for the ANC in the forthcoming elections on 07 May 2014. The ANC has recommitted itself to collectively move South Africa forward as contained in our elections manifesto. We acknowledge that there are still a lot to be done to improve the quality of life of our people. The ANC has pledged to: remain true to its values of courage, service, self-sacrifice, human solidarity, integrity, humility, honesty, hard-work, self-discipline and mutual respect; work with our allies and the people to move South Africa forward through the commitments we have set out in the manifesto; strengthen the bonds of trust and solidarity with our people where these have been broken and continue to listen to an effectively communicate with our people. Some of the leaders that visited the province are, Comrades Nomvula Mokonyane; Obed Bapela, Yunus Carrim, Jackson Mthembu, Angie Motshekga, Sue Van Der Merwe, Naledi Pandor, Aaron Motswaledi, Zweli Mkhize, Fikile Mbalula amongst others. Some of the areas that were visited include Pescodia, Squarehill Park, Ritchie, Galeshewe, Kuruman, Upington, Springbok, Port Nolloth, De Aar, Pampierstad, and Barkley West. The ANC is rooted amongst the people of our province and remains the true parliament of our people. Together we move South Africa forward.
