.........TO ALL PARENTS.......... Parenting is tough now. Even tougher than when I was a kid everything has to fit in the clothing you wear, the shoes you have on, and now my 11yr old wants to get percings and dye her hair WHAT THE HELL so tonight I have to brag tonight about my parenting! Tonight we went to youth group and when my daughter got in the car she started badgering me about this. So instead of getting pissed I just told her that sometimes the answers are right in front of her. She then looked at me like I was crazy and rolled her eyes. So I said "Amy, when Jesus was put on the cross did the disiples help laugh, tease, spit on him because everyone else was doing this?" She looked at me now with a tear running down her cheeck and said "Dad, I never thought of that that way, and maybe if everyone thought like that the world just might be better! I grabbed her in my arms and told her" that I am so proud of her"!!!
