TO ALL WHO HAVE REPLIED TO ME. Personal summery from Crazy Jilly Emoji Emoji let me explain more. Last night I was up til midnite, sending every person I know emails. I also contacted every doctor I know or dont know! haha. The ideal situation, is for a team of docs somewhere in the world, to agree to operate.for charity. The second option is to raise funds for the op. Now where this comes in, is as follows. The mother at last came to Ulaan Bataar, from her home in the north. The local Tv stations etc have interviewed her and the child, and she has, in fact, raised 12,million MNTS, Mongolian money. Very loosely, this is about 7000 us, I think. A Korean doctor has supposidly examined Munkhzaya and the report I read was total nonsence. but this is not such a big problem. I have had replies from 4 docs,in Australia, who all say they will hold meetings and get back to me. Its like banging my head against the wall. Today I just lost the plot, and broke down and howled. iTS OVER WELMING. Plus all the other stuff I did today. I have this photographer from UK who contacted me in tow, who Ider my asisstant has taken a dislike too. Ider doesnt like the idea of pics taken of any one in either bad or poor conditions here, unless it can help. So thats a big prob for me. I took the photo man to Sharhad mental hospital this afternoon, man, I am quite crazy. It was just too much. The children tied up as usual, We gave them juice, which they drank with permission from the underpaid, unqualified nurses, and watched the kids drink like camels on a 100 day fast. I untied as many children as i dared , and sat on the floor with them. One little Downs child who I know now for years, just stared up with her eyes into my face, watching me cry and tried to comfort ME. Oh God, its so awful. A little fellow whos actually 15 yrs, with the body of a 4 yr old, miraculously crawled on his belly to get to me, for a cuddle. U have no idea how often I ask myself why why it has to be me that finds all these awful things, and how do I have the energy to keep up the pace? Maybe it is God helping. If so, pray! I just cant believe no other person here has had the brains to contact Western docs. Its all a mystery. Anyhow, the Koreans want 120,000 us dollars, which is about 65,000 pounds, I think, to operate. I will keep trying as hard as poss to find free help from somewhere on this planet. Tomorrow at 12 I shall meet the family again, and try to get better info. This morning, a Mongolan doc told me the problem was the childs brians were falling out of her head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Aussie docs have not given me a formal name for Munkhzayas problem. I beleive in China there are cases of this. Hope to find out more tomorrow. EHHHH, its hard. Til later, Jilly,xxxx ps. early today I rolled my ankle. Unbelievable. So am in total agony! and I am a coward. taken pills, ankle in ice and writing replies to many at a strange angle, with leg on chair and foot in bucket. Apartments cold! poss good for the sprained nakle, one consolation!
