TO ANYONE WONDERING ABOUT HOW I DID MY HAIR : (Since Im being questioned left and right) Note : If you have dyed your hair dark, recently, I would try to wait a few weeks and fade it as much as possible before applying the new color to avoid color blending and over processing. Take excellent care of your hair in this time frame. I did not use Manic Panic. (Although its amazing, it fades too fast for me) I did not use Splat. (Youre asking to fry your hair) I used LOreal Hi-Color Hi-lights for dark hair only. In Red. (Its permanent dye by the way) 1:1 ratio with LOreal Oreor Cream 30 volume developer. (Pink and white bottle) Do not buy 40 vol. Unless your hair is black or dark brown. (Even then I wouldnt) Followed up with an Ion intensive repair mask to put on after washing the dye out. (White package with red on it) I shampoo and condition with Mane n Tail to help keep my hair healthy. All of the above can be found at Sallys Beauty Supply for under $20. 30 minutes processing time and you do not have to have dark hair for this particular dye. (Its just made so no bleaching or killing of the hair will occur for my dark hair girls) You do not have to pre lighten or bleach. I dont use box dye, it kills your hair faster. If anybody needs help with their hair I will gladly give advice or do it for you if you dont want to risk messing up.
