TO BE DESTROYED - 11/22/13 Manhattan -P (A0984952) MISSING HIS HOUSEMATE ♥ JOSHY ♥ CRIED DURING HIS NIGHT WALK PERKED UP WHEN HE SAW ZEUS :( 5 year old Joshy was brought to ACC when his owner had some family changes. Joshy looks out to you with loving and longing eyes in hopes that you will save his life tonight. Please do not wait another minute because at noon tomorrow Joshy will be gone.ღ ☼♥¸.•´¸.•*´¨) A volunteer writes ♥~ Joshy and housemate Zeus were brought together to the Manhattan Care Center as their master could not house large dogs anymore. Both seem to have been yard dogs kept and crated inside during inclement weather. They were left many hours to their lonesome. Joshy is a very good looking dog with a thick golden brown coat missing hair by places and showing many calluses. His eyes are bright, copper in shade and beautiful. I am sure that what I see is not Joshys personality. He is compliant, obedient, aloof, lost in time and space. He ducks under my caresses (does he even know what it is?). Joshy walks quite well on the leash and marks his territory at strategic points like trees. He eliminates as soon as we leave the care center. He does not show any interest in other dogs. He sits after a few prompts. He cried a little during our night walk and he perked up when I got him to see Zeus. Both tails were wagging in unison. There was more life in both their faces...I hope to see and understand more when I meet Joshy and Zeus again.
