Puppy playful despite his estimated age of two years, hes tail waggy sweet and friendly. He scampers on the leash with joy of being out for a walk and having the opportunity to potty outside. He has the perfect amount of energy, not too much, not too little, just right! He made friends with everyone we passed, especially happy to meet the construction workers down the street who invited him to make friends. Posing for pictures in the park, he makes wonderful eye contact, keeping his eye on the reward treat in my hand. He takes it gently and then continues to pose, perhaps hoping for more treats! Beans loves other dogs, going into the play position with those we meet. Hes huggy and delicious, climbing into my lap for some kisses and cuddles. Beans aced his behavior assessment indicating he will be a good fit in just about any home. As I put him back in his kennel he leaned into me for some final hugs. Hes looking for a home in which he will get the exercise he needs, all followed up with lots of love. Hes ready to meet you - please dont make him wait. 10/11/2013 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - AVERAGE Exam Type BEHAVIOR Helper 973393 Beans was a bit shy during handling, but displays soft and social body language. He followed the assessor submissively during the tag item. Beans was a bit tense during the food item, but did lift his head after a bit of pressure from the assess a hand. He showed no interest in the toys or tha rawhide. Beans approached the helper dog with soft relaxed body language. Look: 2. Dogs eyes are averted. His body posture is stiff and fearful; his tail is low and not moving. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessors cupped hands. Sensitivity: 2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, his tail is between his legs, body stiff, mouth closed, lip long, ears likely back, may lip lick. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body low and a bit fearful. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze2: 1 . Dog gently pulls back his paw. Food: 2.
