That’s the situation that 18-month old Butch found himself in as the older brother and caretaker to his sister Kelly. Butch is only 18-months old himself so it’s been tough for him to be the leader. Butch is on the small side for a pit bull mix at 46-pounds. The kids obviously didn’t enjoy the best nutrition when they had a home as evidenced by the alopecia on Butch’s skin. He also suffers from a case of mange that can be treated. Thank goodness his heartworm test turn out with a negative result. Butch is understandably a bit stressed at the shelter but his behavior is admirable as you can see on his little video. You are probably Butch’s only chance to live through the day tomorrow. Please find a home for Butch or at least a temporary foster. Butch will understand the gift of human kindness.
