TO HELP EDDIE....................PLEASE SHARE!!! We desperately need all our FB friends to help us make a happy end for the worse cruelty case we have seen for a long time. This handsome fellow is Eddie, a 1 year old Shephard x Husky x Collie, but when we first met him he didnt look like this.......in fact, he was in so much pain and suffering so much, that just thinking about him now has tears rolling down my cheeks. He was found wandering the streets over Christmas, with matts of blood and crusting all over his body, and desperately itchy. The photos that weve attached here really are some of the better ones - the others are just too grim to show. Eddie was suffering from a readily curable mite infection, called Demodicosis, but because his owner couldnt be bothered to seek medical attention for him, his suffering became intolerable. For the past few months he has been in a kennel environment, receiving medical attention for his horrific skin lesions. Today, as you can see, he has made a complete recovery, and although demodex mites can be difficult to treat in some breeds, Eddie is now cured. HE IS THE SWEETEST NATURED DOG, he loves people and other dogs alike, hes great with children (although he is bouncy!), and just deserves to be part of a lovely family. He is castrated, vaccinated, identichipped, defleaed and dewormed..........and not to put too fine a point on it, everyone at the practice would love him to go to a local family so that we can keep in touch with him.
