TO MY CIVILIAN FACEBOOK FRIENDS: I am proud to be a Soldier in the Colorado Army National Guard. Normally, I keep quiet about various tasks and duties assigned to me and my fellow soldiers, in observance of "Operation Security", but this video, created and endorsed by our Leadership, offers a peek into one of the life-saving responsibilities my Brigade has proudly shouldered. During our recent two-week Annual Training, for the third year in a row, we trained and were evaluated as a disaster-response force. In event of natural, chemical, biological, or nuclear disaster, we could be called upon to assist in extraction, decontamination, and treatment of casualties. This video highlights our evaluation which, due to the outstanding performance of my fellow Soldiers and our Leadership, we passed with top marks across the board.
