TO MY FABULOUS FB FRIENDS, in case MFH posts dont show up for you, PLEEEEEASE READ & HELP - THIS APPLIES TO ***EVERYONE*** So folks, I have loads more posts to go through since last night, and thanks to give for yet more donations weve received which have definitely taken us over the £300 mark! I am so so grateful to all of you, I just feel completely **** today, I had to go back to my doctor, who I see more than, well almost anyone else lately, for my 4th lot of antibiotics (for 4 different reasons) in under 6 weeks. Not good, you could say my body is currently waving a big white flag!! So I will be back online when Im feeling up to it, hopefully very soon. In the meantime however, I HAD to post this, because without the generosity of Greyhound Gap in letting us attend their fab twice-yearly shows, we would currently have a very sickly bank balance to rival me! The reason for the urgency, and me posting from my death-bed ;-) is that they are currently less than 20 hours from winning a stupendous FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS in this competition below, but the second placed contestant (who hasnt even done the challenge yet, theyre just starting training!!!) has received over 500 votes this afternoon alone so could easily overtake them. That money will cover almost one whole months kenneling fees, they usually have over A HUNDRED dogs in their care at any time, a figure I cant even comprehend, so they just HAVE to win! THEY NEED YOUR HELP TO DO THIS! Because this has been going on for a month now, all of their own supporters have already voted, and you cannot vote twice else your vote will be excluded. So they need new people to help them - thats where you lovely lot come in! Can we get them to over 3,500 votes, and hopefully help them secure these essential doggy life-saving funds? All it takes is a few seconds of your time, no money, no joining anything dodgy/giving your bank details away - you just click the link, vote for Greyhound Gaps Zipline (this is the fundraiser I posted about last month, apparently its fairly scary when youre up there!) then put your email address in, verify the email you will immediately get sent - then youre almost done. The next step, if youd be so kind, is to beg the rest of your animal-loving friends to help. If we needed it, I know theyd help us, so please, help them now. In fact, DO IT NOW - you only have until 5pm tomorrow, Tuesday 30th September, to get your vote in! Then keep an eye on it, in case those ratbag second placers try a last minute swoopage tactic!!
