TO MY FELLOW MARVEL FANS… READ AND SHARE!!! READ AND SHARE!!! To whom it may concern….. I’m a fan of the marvel comic characters and have been since a child…. Also I’m a big movie buff… That being said you can assume where this letter is going… First tho I’d like to start with some side dishes. To Sony Pictures Your concern of the current status of The Amazing Spider-Man series is silly. As we all know second films in series commonly get more negative reviews then the first. However the overall response is far better than your original movie series with Toby. A lot better. I encourage you to stick with it and absolutely no soft reboot or reboot at all, just don’t wait so long between movies, it’s just not needed. Your crew of writers are great and I have faith that they can make things work and pull a sinister six off with it. Andrew Garfield, my many thanks to you for giving the web-slinger his balls back!!! To Marvel Studios So far you guys have been doing fantastic overall, I really have no complaints so far. I’m not a hardass about purity to comics and source material as some fans are. I understand that you have to work with a broader audience to make money and sometimes that means cutting stuff out. RDJ will be forever Tony Stark and the amazing crew of actors you have “Assembled” has time and time again brought the A-Game to the productions. To 20th Century Fox, It has been a bumpy road for you guys and you have stayed the course when many would have given up or just rebooted and for that I adamantly applauded you for an overall success. You managed to keep a series afloat despite some weird and tough times, and so far much like MCU put together and extremely “gifted” corps of actors to bring to life some classic characters, and Much like RDJ, Jackman will forever be Wolverine. Your ability to create a story that undid some of the more embarrassing moments in the X-Men movies with a movie (Days of Future Past) was fantastic storytelling and gave the series new life. As hardcore Deadpool fan I give you my thanks for undoing that BS. Now just make the damn DP movie already… PLEASE!!! All that being said I think it’s time to get to the main course… Lately the buzz for a convergence of these three separate cinematic universes is absolute fever pitch. You’d think that would mean it’s time to nut or shut up and make some serious money in the process… You’d think that but no. Its seems that all that this has produced is a competition in childish futility to see who can be the big kid in the sand box and not share the toys, and the fans are sick of it. The market is here and now, and you guys are the three players in it. Instead of being a vicious and horrible love quadrangle (I.E. You three and us the fans) How about becoming a true triumvirate and showing us the fans the best you have to offer. It’s happening now and you guys need to get over yourselves and stop being like this. So far, It seems as tho there has been some progress, Marvel Studios and Sony have had talks, this seems to be confirmed, and are working on sharing the product market as well. So what does that mean? It means that now the ball is your hands Fox. The fans are looking at you currently and you are becoming the antagonist. I read an article about how it seem that Marvel is dropping bombs on you with regards to shutting you out of the merchandise market, and limiting story material for you to write. You left them no choice and now fans will have to suffer. We don’t forgive and we don’t forget, remember that, and remember what we have been asking for. The golden goose is here ladies and gentlemen of Fox, Sony, and Marvel, but the only way to profit from it is to share it. I have faith that you guys can work out a deal to secure this these thing both legally and business wise and do something that has never been done. Make a pinnacle moment in movie history that will never be forgotten… and make a few helicarriers of cash in the making. And so with this being said I, Joshua Patrick Lazier, here by make this a good will E-Petition to encourage the controlling parties of what I call “The Greater Marvel Movie Universe” to come together, put all differences aside and make movie history. And I call forth the fans to share this post as an act of agreement on behalf of our mutual desires to see stories like “Civil War” and “AvX” and others that create large convergence stories to happen to be created on film for our mutual enjoyment and the companies responsible mutual profit.
