TO THE CLASS OF 2018: As freshman, Im sure you are nervous about the amount of homework you will have in high school. Im sure you also think high school is supposed to be fun, and it is, part of my advice to you is to make sure you have a healthy balance between having fun and focusing on school. Im sure none of you plan on being unsuccessful in life, so, start thinking about the future NOW. Everything you do (school-wise) affects your future from here. Start thinking about what kind of college you would like to go to, and what is required to get in to those schools. High school isnt much different from middle school, except that there are no free passes. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Do your work, and high school will not be hard, the teachers are pretty easy to get along with. Doing your homework will also help your test scores, because most test questions will come directly from homework. And if any of you need help with anything, Im still in your hallway, come find me. Also, Charlie Fraley is Superwoman, seriously she does everything (keep in mind, its hard to find her at a time when she isnt busy with something else,) but if you need help in a class, she will help you find a tutor. If you need help with scheduling or anything else, go find your counselor, Nicole Kilburn, she is always happy to help. :)
