TOBY IS HOME!!! I would have written sooner but we are having massive thunder and lightning storms right now. Were in between one so here we go. Toby, my beautiful beautiful pug is home with us. He was so excited to see everyone at the hospital when they brought him out. Stanley was jumping all over him he was so happy to see him. Right now, Toby is laying under my desk with his head resting on my foot. Boy did I miss that. He is on five different kinds of medicines (I have a hard enough time keeping track of mine) 3 antibiotics, Vitamin K, nausea medstoo. I put them in a pill organizer so I wouldnt get something wrong. Problem is, hes only eating a little (special food) so putting them in his food didnt work. I bought the pill pockets two different flavors and he wouldnt tak that either. So I had to pill him, that is a job in itself. If anyone has any suggestions, please tell me how I can get these meds in him. He is scheduled for blood tests next week and the week after or until he gets better, doctor says could go on for a few months. They want him back to do that ultrasound in a month and that will continue until his blood work comes back completely normal. Hes still very yellow, maybe not as bad as when i brought him in. the total bill came to $3,044, I was able to get an increase in Care Credit of $600 so with the donations and care-credit, I was able to pay off the entire bill. I still have $200 in care credit which will cover some of the tests, meds and food he will have to have. Any donations received after we checked out will be added to Tobys account for future tests. I have pictures but the storm is right over head so Im going to shut down again. Thank you all so much for your support, your prayers, hugs and donations. We are back to being a family again.
