Enjoy musical entertainment, with jazz from the Martinique Jazz Band, easy listening songs with Ian Casey during the afternoon and early evening, then rousing tunes from Halesowen Brass Band in true flag waving proms style to end the evening. bring your flags and your picnics Haden Hill House Museum and park - You can also visit Haden Hall which will be open from 2pm-5pm Free THE MANOR HOUSE MUSEUM At the Manor House today 2pm - 5pm - Heritage open Days. Find out about food in Medieval Times and try some marchpane, Canel Cucumber or Swithin Cream. Make some History Workshops take a guided tour (2.15pm, 3.15pm or 4.15pm) or help plant some bulbs in our grounds (3.30pm). Admission & guided tours are free, no need to book. Workshops - price dependant on item made. OAK HOUSE MUSEUM Up the mysterious stairs and the 1600s dairy, 2-5pm. A chance to explore the top floor of the house which is usually closed to visitors and a former office once a servants bedroom. We will be taking visitors up in small groups so there may be a short wait. Visitors can also see our brand new 1600s dairy for the first time and there will also be 17th century servants in the house. The Sandwell Foghorn will also be on site and you can enjoy live music played down it - it has rather a lovely soound . No need to book Galton Valley Canal Museum Open Day 10am till 4pm. Housed in the New Smethwick Pumping Station the museum will be open to visitors and there will be guided walks to the old James Watt Smethwick Engine site at 11am and 2pm. Bishop Asburys Cottage Museum - Open Day, Newton Rd, Great Barr - Sunday 14 September 2pm-5pm. This tiny 18th century cottage was the childhood home of Francis Asbury, first Methodist bishop of the USA.
