TODAY: In co-sponsorship with the Graduate Students of East Asian Languages and Literatures, the Institute for Chinese Studies will feature a lecture by Ji Jun, visiting scholar at the OSU Center for Folklore Studies and the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures. The lecture, titled Chinese New Year Paintings: Context and Meaning, will take place Friday, April 18 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in 388 Hagerty Hall. Dr. Jun is from Anyang Normal University, Henan Province, Peoples Republic of China. There is a current exhibit of Chinese New Year paintings on the first floor of Hagerty Hall. Please note that this lecture will be conducted primarily in Chinese.
