October 14th CONFRONT ITS SEED Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. The world’s biggest trees emerge from even the tiniest seeds. Unforgiveness begins with a little thought or perception of displeasure, and it is at this stage that it is best dealt with. * * * Our text today explains how an episode of offence should be rightly treated to avoid the incidence of malice or unforgiveness. It begins by asking the one who is offended to take the bull by the horn in voicing out his displeasure to his brother who had offended him in a bid to ‘gain’ that brother. * * * Rather than brood upon a wrong done against you or spreading the news of the hurt, what is right to do is to make an instant effort to resolve the issue with whoever is involved as soon as possible. Has anyone’s action put you on edge quite recently? Do away with assumptions, talk it over, and gain your brother. Glory to God! * * * ISAIAH PROPHESIES: Receive wisdom to handle every issue today in Jesus name. * * * ACTION POINTS: DO THIS: Locate all those who might have hurt you and get them to talk it over with by the wisdom of God. * * * SAY THIS: I decree and I declare that I give no room to the flesh in my life. * * * STUDY YOUR BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: EZEKIEL 14&15, LUKE 14, PSALMS 137 * * * CHRISTIAN MISSION FOCUS: COUNTRY: TUNISIA 65% out of the over 10 million people in Tunisia are unreached with the Gospel. Muslims are 99% of the population. The necessity of learning Arabic is a barrier to many non-Tunisian Missionaries. However, there are many open doors to share the Gospel than ever before. * * * PRAY FOR TUNISIA: We are praying that the wisdom of God will rest upon the missionaries to get the Gospel across to the people of Tunisia. * * * CONTINUOUS PRAYING: Startup prayer: Dear Father, give me the necessary wisdom and skill to trash every potential unforgiveness when they come in Jesus name PRAYER OF CONSECRATION Oh Lord my God, I thank you for your love for me since the year began. Father, I consecrate myself to you this month. Let me not fall short of your best for my life this year. Open my heart to new things by your Spirit. Fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Let my heart yearn for you every hour in Jesus Name.
