TODAYS DEVOTIONAL LESSON By: Towana L. Williams Misery Loves Company One of the things that I have learned in life, is that misery loves company. Misery is a spirit of satan and it corrupts the souls of so many. Misery attaches itself to people who are angry at God; those that are jealous of other people and the lives that they are living; depressed people who have suffered a great lost and cannot cope; very judgmental people and those that are always seeking something good things for themselves, but they dont want to work for it and they despise those, who have achieved their blessings from God. Misery seeks out other vessels to engage and attach itself to. It enjoys spreading gloom, darkness, depression, misery and hate. It thrives off of polluting ones soul and corruption of the mind. People that are afflicted with the spirit of misery, do not desire to be miserable by themselves. They cant stand to witness people who are happy, productive, focused, driven and full of love. They weave an intricate web of deceit in hopes that they will catch the innocent in their web and share their rotten spoils. God didnt create us for sadness nor darkness. When you operate under the authority of misery, you are basically at war with God! Misery is the opposite of happiness and peace. Ephesians 4:31-32 ESV Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. You can easily recognize those who have this spirit, by their deceitful works and rotten fruit. Please pray for all of those in your life that are miserable and bitter. Do not allow them to suck you into their vacuum of hate and deplete you of Gods precious gifts in your life. If you have this spirit from hell, I suggest that you pray for yourself without ceasing, ask God to forgive you, repent of your wrongdoings, seek wise counsel with believers of Christ and be transformed by the renewing of your spirit--in righteousness through Christ Jesus. Be encouraged beloveds! Copyright 2014 Daily Devotional Lessons by Towana L. Williams. All rights reserved
