TODAYS PRE-SEASON Highlighted many work ons needed for the group BUT all in all a satisfying FIRST HIT OUT. The HAWKS managing to outpoint a Waikanae side that FIELDED a very slick & experienced back line TODAY. We required a number of our players to front up & play in positions they were not accustomed to........ & there were some pleasant surprises. We learnt alot about our newbies as well, so now the hard work & the commitment begins. START by taking the time to familiarize yourself with our play book. We need to move AHEAD together at the same pace & today proved some of us are off the pace, so do what you can to catch up! START with doing the EXTRAS TODAY!
