TODAYS THOUGHT: Aren’t you glad there is someone who never gets tired of listening, encouraging and helping you carry life’s problems? “DO YOU NOT KNOW? HAVE YOU NOT HEARD? THE LORD IS THE EVERLASTING GOD, THE CREATOR OF THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. HE WILL NOT GROW TIRED OR WEARY, AND HIS UNDERSTANDING NO ONE CAN FATHOM. HE GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEARY AND INCREASES THE POWER OF THE WEAK.” Isaiah 40:28,29 (NIV) The Bible tells us the love of God is everlasting, His faith endures forever, He cannot lie (so think of one of His promises to help you today), and now we read ‘HE NEVER TIRES OR GROWS WEARY!’ Why, oh why would anyone in their right mind NOT want to connect with this God? Some of you are worn to a frazzle. Others worried about what the future holds. Some hurting so bad because of a relationship gone bad you wonder if you will ever be able to smile again. Well the Bible is clear about God’s love, but it is also very clear that life can be (and usually is) pretty tough. Hopefully I can say something to help keep you going today. Quit trying to live the Christian life. Quit trying to be like Jesus. Here is what I’d like you to do…Let Jesus Live Through You. Let The Holy Spirit Become Your Strength and Power For Today. We keep trying to do things when all the Lord is asking us to do is surrender. “AND THE GOD OF GRACE, WHO CALLED YOU TO HIS ETERNAL GLORY IN CHRIST, AFTER YOU HAVE SUFFERED A LITTLE WHILE, WILL HIMSELF RESTORE YOU AND MAKE YOU STRONG, FIRM AND STEADFAST.” I Peter 5:10 (NIV) This is HIS SUSTAINING GRACE!
