TODAYS WORD OF BLESSING BY Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran For it is written: Be holy, because I am holy. (1 Peter 1:16) The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, The pure in heart shall see God. The one who walks blameless before Him shall receive blessings from Him. He will reward him according to his righteousness. He will never be shaken. A man who was working in a departmental store was once cleaning the windows, glass panes, etc., with soap water. At one point, he found it difficult to remove certain tough stains on them. He tried to find the cause for such dirt and found that it was because of the pollution inside the room. So he asked a person to first of all clean the inside of that room. Dearly beloved, we too try to clean ourselves with soap, water and other fragrant oils. But our inner man can be cleansed only by the blood of Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord says, Be holy, because I am holy (1 Peter 1:16). God who has called us is holy. We also should be holy in all our conduct because without holiness no one can see Him. The Bible says, “The blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin” (I John 1:7). Hence let us submit ourselves to God to lead a holy life. Lord Jesus will cleanse us with His precious blood and forgive us. We must also walk in His teaching. Then we will be able to remain holy and blameless in His sight. As a result, we shall behold His glory. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, You are holy. Without holiness, no one can see You. I submit myself to lead a holy life. Wash me with your precious blood. Help me to walk in your teaching so that I would be able to remain holy and blameless in your sight. Give me the grace to see your glory. In Your matchless name I pray. Amen. ----
