TODAY’S FRESH BREAD (ALWAYS WITH YOU) Hebrews 13:5 ….. for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Jesus, in one of His sermons, gave a very beautiful narrative in Luke 15:11-32. This is the story of the ‘prodigal son’, even though Jesus never called him prodigal. This story, in some way, gives a shadow of God’s love for us. But being a shadow, it isn’t as strong as the real object. Jesus is the object of God’s love for us. By Him, we get to know really how deed God’s love for us is. The unfortunate thing about this wonderful story is that, the father of the prodigal son was human, and therefore, couldn’t go with his son when he left home. Whiles in the father’s house, he was sheltered, protected, fed with all the good food and clothed with the best clothing. But outside his father’s house, he had to face it for himself. Beloved, you are not like the prodigal son. God said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you”. He never leaves you. Even when you want to leave Him, He never lives you. The Spirit of God is in you to abide in you forever. When you miss the way, He doesn’t stand on the other side of the hill and tell you to come up to meet Him. He goes with you even in your mess. Never believe the lie that God has left you. It is impossible for Him to do that. You are forever precious in His sight not because of you but because of Jesus Christ and His finished work. Move out of His presence and He will move out with you. Come back and He will come with you. No matter where you go and what you do, YOU ARE STILL GOD’S BELOVED…… Good Morning
