TODAY’S MANNA. Colossians 3:1-4. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died and your life is now hidden with Christ, in God. When Christ, who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. ### Here Apostle Paul is exhorting us not to crave for the perishing things of the world, being dead in Christ for the world and living in Christ with Christ for Christ. We are expected to value the high price paid for our salvation and realize its significance and strive to attain the fullness of salvation through Christ Jesus – the ultimate of our salvation through Christ is to be seated by His side, i.e. at the right hand of God. We are exhorted to set our minds on the heavenly things and not on earthly mortal things, because our Savior died for us and the lives of those who believe in Him are hidden with Christ, in God. Also, if we remain in Christ, we will also appear with Christ Jesus in glory, no more in this mortal body. So, let us remain in Christ Jesus and be fruitful in this dying world.
