TODAY’S MANNA. John 11:4. When Jesus heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” ### Many times in the Lord and stay firm, claiming the promises of God. In the given text, we see, we face difficult situations and get upset with it. Being a Child of God, we are supposed to trust e that Jesus getting the news of that his friend Lazarus is sick. Though Jesus loved the family, Jesus did not rush to the house of Lazarus immediately to heal the sick, because :- (a) Jesus knew that this sickness will not culminate to death. (b) Jesus wanted to glorify the name of God through this. (c) Jesus did not want yet another healing to be done in their lives. (d) Jesus wanted to do a unique thing in their lives. Always, we expect an immediate reply to our prayers, according to our wisdom, but God does not answer our prayers at our time and according to our wisdom. Instead God answers our prayers at the best suitable time with the best ever result. So, when our prayers are not answered when we pray, do not get disheartened. Stay steadfast in the Lord, and wait upon the Lord, submitting under His mighty hands to be lifted up in His opportune time. Needless to mention that had Jesus been coming instantly to the house of Lazarus, it would have been yet another healing the sick. But God’s plan was to do a unique thing in the lives of Martha, Mary and Lazarus, by raising the dead. Because Jesus did not come instantly as an answer to the request of the beloved family, something unique took place in their lives. When Jesus reached the Bethany it was already four days past the death of Lazarus, while Jesus said that this sickness will not end in death. Though many times, we see the things ended and Satan speaks to us the words of discouragement, remember that God is still at work and He is working out the best answer for your prayers. If the answer to your prayers appear to be delayed, trust in God that He is doing something unique for you.
