TODAY’S MANNA. Proverbs 24:16-17. Though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity. Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice. ### Walking in this wicked world of crookedness and paths of deceits a righteous man also can fall down. For a righteous man this wicked world lays snares and pits on the paths. Therefore, if we are careless in our walks, we are always at the verge of falling down. However, a righteous man will not be stuck down, because our Lord Jesus Christ is with him and His angels are around him to guard and sustain when falling. Numerous are the attacks of Satan against the children of God. Yet with the help of Holy Spirit in him, he will rise up and go forward to his goal because his eyes are set on the author and finisher of his race on this earth. At the same time the Word of God says that the wicked are brought down once for all and he never rises up, because he does not have the company of Jesus Christ and the protection of angels. His own wickedness brings him down, while the righteous fall in the pits and snares prepared by wicked people. Yet, being a child of God we have no right to rejoice at the fall of our enemy, rather we have to examine ourselves whether we used the available opportunity to share the love of God with him!!! So, let us live a life that could be found righteous in the sight of the lord and be sustained by God.
