TONIGHT: Ferret Trash Cinema returns with the spectacularly bad Plan 9 from Outer Space, very justly considered one of the worst films ever made. So bad its good. Very nearly starring horror legend Bela Lugosi, who died during filming and was replaced by the directors wifes chiropractor; Swedish wrestler Tor Johnson, not known for his ability to deliver comprehensible dialogue; the original goth, the wasp-waisted Vampira, who only agreed to be in the movie if she didnt have to speak; and a host of other non-entity actors. Throw in some flying saucers on strings, gravestones made from cardboard and an illogical plot about aliens resurrecting the dead, and youve got a formula for a film thats brilliantly entertaining for all the wrong reasons.
