TONIGHT, March 21st, SUBMERGED! opens at Radiator Gallery in Long Island City, New York! Co-curated by Leo Kuelbs and Karl Erickson! Tonights opening is the US premiere. All invited! Was thrilled to be invited to work with animator Nicole Antebi to create the soundtrack for our duo piece Dream Propulsion (Laboratory). Based off writings of Leo Kuelbs, Nicole repurposed imagery from Brooklyns Reanimation Library and I four-tracked the electric guitar, amplified piano, voice, violin and collaged-in customized sounds. The show and installation is up until April 25th, with another event towards the closing date on April 18th at Radiator! Ill be playing then, coming up with some deranged, wake-up in sweat vibrant new music.
