TONY COFFMAN - Made a insult of some sort towards me today because I decided not to buy ginseng UNLESS my diggers needed to sell. I plainly stated that facet in the same note that he read or obviously did not read or half read I do not know because if he had read he would have read that part also. The rest of his comments make no since to me at all. I know for a fact he does not know any thing at all about me or what I do or do not do and he made him self look odd at best to me. However I will share here with you below this line what he wrote concerning me. My point is..A ginseng dealer buys according to what he can sell it for and turn a profit no matter what the market is. The truth is he isnt a very large dealer in real life and doesnt have a real export market nor the money to stock pile. I wouldnt have said a word until I read his posting trying to make himself out to be a martyr to the diggers. Just tell the truth about the situation instead of making up some cover story. You cant compete with others with the markets you have right now. This season is for the big boys and it aint for the faint of heart...35 yrs of contacts and experience is why Im the top market in WV.pied and pasted this for you all........ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok I did reply to TONY because I thought that I should and here is my reply to this and it will be the only reply that I make because I wil not argue such foolishness with any one. He can say or do any thing he wants to. Up until tonight I never thought no bad thing concerning him, but he had absolutely no reason to make this post concerning me at all. I can also sell all that I want to sell. I do have contacts and you are a liar because you said I did not. You are completely wrong in that. I have know idea what made you ever think that at all. Also if you had read thoroughly you will see that I told the diggers if they needed to sell any way that I would buy there ginseng at $500 a pd and that price is = to or more tha any dealer in our area rite now, but I did tell them that I think it would be best to wait till later when the price goes up and encouraged them to do so. One more thing you are at $550 you say and any good dealer knows that W VA Ginseng is worth at least $100.00 a pd more than KY TN or VA I am paying $500 to those who cant wait and when the time comes I will see that they make more if they get to wait and can wait. So in my opinion you are $50.00 low on your diggers. The big dog that you think you are means nothing to me at all.. I LoL at you rite now because you have no idea at all what income I have or do not have, but I do. And you certainly have no idea at all of what I sold my roofing business for or what I had saved from it for over 22 years before I sold neither the income hat I have made since, but I will tell you this I have never needed that money. Also in short I have one buyer that would buy everything that I have with one phone call and several others as well. And yea I could very well buy low rite now and stock back and make more than I will by treating the diggers better and being honest with them, but that is my business and not yours. You mind to your business and I will mind to mine. You add nothing at all to me and you certainly will never take any thing from me Tony Period. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Now I do want you all to know this and it is writing in the note where I wrote about waiting for a improvement in prices. But any way I will say it again. Of course I will buy ginseng if you can not hold it at $500 a pd dry. However I still think we can do better and encourage you to do so, but that is each and every one of yours own decision, but know this for sure. I can sell it and I can buy it and that is no problem at all if you want to sell it now. And I personally think it is sad that a man as Tony felt the need to say things that he said and he can say what ever he wants to, but that shows some kind of jealousy or doubt in him self. I in no way understand that attack or condescend to it and I in no way have a clue of what he was talking about when he said I did not or could not sell and buy that was simply ignorant I could and can buy what ever I want to and that is all that I wil say.
