TOOLING TUESDAY... EXPLANATION OF CARVING CLOCKWISE - COUNTER CLOCKWISE - Talking about Meander/Serpentine Stamp Border Lines: A right handed person carving a line in a clockwise direction will most of the time carve slightly to the right of center. Carving in a counter clockwise direction they will carve slightly to the left of center. Clockwise - The direction of the hands on a clock - Towards the right Counter Clockwise - The opposite direction of the hands on a clock - Toward the left The importance in knowing this is that it will change the spacing of the borderlines which as talked about in the video is important. A Thick blade will also change the spacing so WC always uses a thin blade when carving the borders.
