I am fortunate enough to work this summer as a co-op Business Analyst at the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment. Not only is my workplace located in the beautiful vicinity of the Saskatchewan legislative building, but also is a short walk away from the peaceful & serene Wascana lake. Right from the first day, Ive worked in a team-oriented environment which also empowers employees to create & take initiatives. This allowed me to work on my own and with others to achieve the best outcomes possible. I am very self-motivated and take full advantage of working in an atmosphere where I can continuously learn new things and improve my skills. From my experience of working here so far, you can expect a lot of communication, mutual understanding, respect for each other’s ideas & lots of appreciation and acknowledgment of good work. Ive had numerous networking opportunities and created great work relationships. The work environment is open, supportive, entrepreneurial, and focused on fostering strengths.
