TOPIC:- THE ARK TO OVERFLOW IS COMING Gen. 7:1-7And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. 2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female:and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. 3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. 4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. 5 And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him. 6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. 7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. THE ARK OF OVERFLOW CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING:- 1. Salvation. 2. Safety in the midst of disaster and destruction. 3. Peace in the midst of trouble or crisis. 4. Love in the midst of rejection. 5. Favour in the midst of dryness. 6. Joy in the midst of sorrows. 7. Realisation of dreams in the midst of hopeless situation. 8. Fruitfulness in the midst of wasted effort. 9. Life in the midst of deaths. WHAT TO EXPECT OUTSIDE THE ARK OF OVERFLOW Gen. 6:21-23. 21 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. 23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth:and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. 1. Hopelessness. 2. Destruction. 3. Wasted efforts. 4. Sudden disaster. 5. Sorrow. 6. Lost of long built achievements. 7. Shame. 8. Rejection. 9. Fruitless efforts. 10. Death. MOMENT OF OVERFLOW Gen. 8:1-3.And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark:and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; 2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; 3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually:and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. Gen. 8:20-21.And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for mans sake; for the imagination of mans heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 1. Moment of remembrance. 2. Moment of new life. 3. Moment of stability. 4. Moment of new breed. 5. Moment of building altar for the Lord with sacrifice of sweet smelling savour. 6. Moment to cancel all curses. PURPOSE OF ARK TO OVERFLOW 1. To give you a new dawn. 2 Sam. 6:10-11.So David would not remove the ark of the Lord unto him into the city of David:but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. 11 And the ark of the Lord continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months:and the Lord blessed Obededom, and all his household. 2. To re-write your family history. 1 Chro. 26:4-8. 3. To push you to the next level of your destiny. 4. To get the ark to overflow you must be a good worshiper. 5. To give you recognition among the high and mighty in the society. 6. To make you a voice. 7. To change your location. 8. To remove obstacles and blockers to your overflow. 1 Chro. 13:9-10.And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. 10 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark:and there he died before God. If Uzzah did not died the ark to overflow will not locate Obededom. 9. To keep your enemies busy through and ignorantly working for your overflow. 1 Chro. 13:13-14.So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. 14 And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had. Example of Obededom from poverty to become porter, the custodian of the ark and later serve as priest with all his households in the ever flourishing of God blessing. 1 Chro. 15:17-18.So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah; 18 And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters. PRAYER POINTS 1. Father, let the ark to overflow locate me. 2. Father, if the key to my overflow is in the camp of my enemies, please recover it for me. 3. Father, any obstacle and blocker within me to my overflow by fire by force remove them. 4. Father, make me a good worshiper and let my worship be acceptable unto You. 5. Father, all external obstacles and blockers to my overflow deal with them. 6. Father, keep me inside the ark to overflow. 7. Father, let my moment of overflow be now.
