TOPIC: INDEED MANY ARE THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS: BUT THE LORD DELIVERS HIM FROM THEM ALL. -THE SCRIPTURE- ….we ourselves glory in you in the Churches of God, for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God: for which we also suffer – seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you. And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty Angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that knew not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power: when He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of His calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness, and the work of faith with power: that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ……2ND THESSALONIANS 1:4-12. -THE MESSAGE- It is written, that all that will live godly in this life will suffer persecution – for if they persecuted our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ they will also persecute you – except you are not what you claim you are or, that you have not received Him Whom you claim to have received. For we all that believe shall through many tribulations and trials enter the Kingdom of our Daddy in heaven. People of God, we must count it all joy when we pass through diverse temptations in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ…. inasmuch as (we) are partakers of Christ’s sufferings: that, when His glory shall be revealed, (we) may be glad also with exceeding joy”. For if (we) be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are (we): for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon (us): on their part He is evil spoken of, but on (our) part He is glorified….Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well doing, as to unto a Faithful Creator”…1ST PETER 4:13, 14 and 19. Brethren, our days are truly evil – for even amongst us, in the very body of Christ, have emerged some folks who are determined to undermine the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ – false brethren, false prophets and false teachers – who do everything to suppress the truth and mock and deride those that walk therein. They are those that dismiss the word of God with slangs and phrases to the admiration and acclamation of compromising Christians and sinners alike. They are all over the places – and they make the work of ministry more tasking for they will do everything to draw away brethren from the truth – to satisfy their lusts and sinful pleasures. Beware of them for their end is certain. My brothers and sisters in the Lord do not fret because of compromisers and evil workers even in the very Church of Jesus Christ, who take pleasure in mocking those that preach the truth and those who live godly. Do not border your lives praying against them – for the Lord has ordained tribulation upon all that trouble those that live godly in this life. They may be prospering in their compromising and wicked ways, but do not imitate them : for a certain fearful day awaits each and every one of them. Maintain holiness and righteousness and at the end you will not only live to rejoice here, you will also make heaven at last. And, if you are still standing on the truth of this Gospel, do continue. Whatever may be the reproach you are presently facing, know it this very day that the Lord is right there with you. As long as you are walking in the truth of this gospel, the assurance from heaven is that it is well with your soul. Yes, He that will come will come. He will not tarry. Keep holding on. Are you in a bad marriage, do not seek to go out. Are you in financial difficulty? Hold on to all that you have learned of our Lord Jesus Christ and refuse to compromise for that which is temporary and fleeting? Are you having difficulties in ministry? Know ye that faithful is He Who called you Who will also do it. Whatever may be the trial you are passing through today, do not seek the easy way out – stick to the Lord and to His ways: do not follow the steps of those who turn a little to the left and little to the right that the grace of God may abound –God forbid! Beware of those that lure you to places where “all your problems” will disappear in one day. Watch out brethren, for the daily conflicts of the righteous are there to cause him or her to continue in prayers and fellowship with His or her God – walking before his or her God in righteousness and holiness - in fear and trembling. And it is the perfect will of God that as the righteous walk with and in him, all the reproaches of the righteous shall be taken away one by one. Therefore true freedom from all forms of satanic oppression lies solely in continuation in righteousness and holiness – no more no less. Men and brethren, Are there some that are now asking you to quit your marriage because of marital challenges? Do not mind them – they are enemies of righteousness. The marriage that our Lord ordained is until death do we part. Are they asking you to follow them to roadside prophets to cast demons from your body? Do not follow them for they are simply taking you to agents of satan that will end up demonizing your life. Are you yet childless and they want to take you to a marine agent disguised as a prophet of God? Beware of these folks and their evil ways. The perfect will of God is that none shall be barren in His Church. So keep following the Lord and He will perfect all that concerns you. Keep your garment unstained and unpolluted from the vices that are in this life. Yes, they may mock you, but my God will visit you on a day unexpected, and He will wipe away your tears. Our God created us for His pleasure and only for His pleasure. And He makes all things beautiful in His own time. So keep walking, keep waiting, keep believing – for at the dueness of time, even in His own time, He will make all things beautiful even in your very life.
