TOPIC: THE ROCK OF AGES “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord...” (1Corinthians 15:58) The popular saying, “solid as the Rock of Gibraltar” is used to describe a person or situation that cannot be overcome and does not fail. Gibraltar is a small, narrow peninsula, located at the southern edge of Spain. When a young believer remains resolute in his determination to follow the Lord to the end, Satan is no match. At conversion, you are well-rooted and stand firmly on Christ the solid Rock of Ages. You remain strong when your faith rests on Him; you will never slide, sink or be submerged in the ocean of the world. Challenge: Underneath are the everlasting arms.
