TOPS & TROUSERS MONTH- One of the great 2nd tier Funk bands of the 70s. & while they emerged in the Funk/Rock wake of P-Funk.........they had a vibe & sound all of their own. They always had a Metal funk sound to me. Not only the ferocious lead playing of Mark Hicks......but the distinct & truly thunderous bass of Mark Adams....made for a truly metallic sound ,that set them apart from other Lighter funk bands like Confunkshun or Brass Construction.
