TR6 project - update #10 - the Triumph engine compartment is supposed to be body color - in this case white. The previous owner had the car Ziebart-ed (a rust proofing process) and the engine compartment was completely covered with this thick, black, waxy coating. I tried countless products to clean if off - nothing would budge it. So we are now chemically stripping the engine compartment and then we will paint it. Me and my boy have spent three days so far cleaning out cracks and crevices. I think we are winning. Bonding time!
