TRACTORS CRAWL TO THE WALL Tractors are set to “Crawl to the Wall” at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, from downtown Seneca. The tractors will depart downtown Seneca and travel south of the river to Marseilles with a stop at the Middle East Conflicts Memorial Wall. At noon a route north of Rt 6 will return the group to downtown Seneca near Fergies Bar and Grill where lunch will be available. The cost is $10 per tractor and all proceeds will benefit the Seneca FFA program. A cash donation was given to the Seneca Food Pantry from the 2013 ride. The ride organizer is Jay Harvey. “My goal is to get those old tractors out of storage and run them in the sun as part of a fun Father’s day weekend event. Stopping along the way to pay tribute at the Marseilles Wall is an added benefit this year. Last year we visited a private horse training facility that turned out very nice.” To reserve a position in this year’s ride contact Jay Harvey at 815 228-4866 or harvey@krausonline.
