TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Route 280 - the Harrisonburg Southeast Connector - is scheduled to open tonight between Port Republic Road and Peach Grove Avenue. This will extend the four-lane roadway known as the Southeast Connector from Peach Grove Avenue to Port Republic Road near the Harrisonburg city limits. Rockingham County is building the final phase of the Southeast Connector from Route 253 to Route 33 east of Harrisonburg. Final completion is expected in spring 2015.
