TRAFFIC UPDATE: I-75 is partially shut down at mile marker 233 due to fire in the immediate vicinity of the roadway. The I-75 southbound left and center lanes are now open, but the right lane southbound is still closed from the 233 through 228 mile markers. I-75 is shut down northbound at exit 228. Traffic is being rerouted to I-275 (Traffic can then go northbound to Tampa via US-41 or I-275, or go back to Manatee by US-41 southbound, or US-17 southbound).
