TRAFFIC UPDATE: The Princes Highway is closed between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay this morning following a multi vehicle pile up. Two trucks and another vehicle were involved in the accident, which occurred around 2.45 this morning, as the drivers were trying to avoid a tree which had come down on the highway. The crash occurred at East Lynne near the turn off to Pebbly Beach. One of the truck drivers was trapped by the legs and had to be released by paramedics and fire brigade rescue....he also suffered facial injuries. Another person suffered minor injuries. The fuel tank on one of the trucks ruptured leaking diesel on to the road The highway is blocked in both directions, and police say because of the amount of debris which needs to be cleared it could be some time before it is open.
