*TRAGEDY* EPISODE TWO (2) I watched my friend Onyishi, frm a distance holding my girlfriend, Chioma so tight on her waist. I watched them stop and talked for a while. I watched them in each others arms. Then I watched him kiss her goodbye. My eyes were red. And I was up frm hiding, furious and ready to leave for my home. I jst couldnt bear the sight of them. But jst then, she paused and I watched her dial some numbers on her mobile phone and in a flash my phone was ringing. She had the guts to call me. With my shaky hands, I picked. But I was going to tell her to delete my contact frm her phone. Yes I was going to tell her to see me as history in her life. I was going to tell her its over. I was going to tell her theres no more us. But I didnt... And I dont know why. Im already on my way from the market, she said. Well, I managed to say, something came up and I had to rush home. I was xpecting shes going to beg me to come back. I was hoping shes going to say she missed me. Yeah, I was xpecting, I was hoping. But she didnt freaking do that. She simply said okay and then hung up. Just imagine. I watched her dial numbers on her phone again...Surely it was Onyishis number bcos within the twinkle of an eye, Onyishi was with her again. I saw him rest his hand on her shoulder and walked her home. Perhaps she told him I was gone. And perhaps she wanted to have more fun with him. Ive never felt so btrayed in my entire life. I thought these things only happen in movies. I never blieved they happen for real. Never thought it could happen to me, ever. I was hurt. I was bitter. I was furious. I was mad. I was weak. I was distressed. I was grieved... I was just a living corpse, if at all theres any thing like that. I was just anything negative u could think of. I was devastated, I was downcasted.
